 Dear publisher,

I'm Şenol Onay, born in Çorlu in 1965. I've published three satirical novels and three essays in Türkiye, and I've translated six of them into English. I'm looking for a publisher.

I'm a wordsmith. I've invented over a thousand Turkish words, more than a hundred of which were rootless. I made up the titles of all my books except one, and everyone who hears them smiles.

My first satirical novel, Horgeneral, is an autobiographical work. My hero, Ekrem Cesur, fails in Türkiye despite his immense talents, becomes a writer, and settles in England. His ill fortune takes a turn for the better.

My second satirical novel, Veterans and Those Who Die in Vain, tells the three-and-a-half-day adventures of twin brothers: one a national football team center forward, the other a staff captain. Strange things happen, the two switch places, and the story ends with an unpredictable ending.

 My third satirical novel, Errorist, is the story of a con artist. My hero, Anıl, defrauds everyone with the help of his mentor, Remzi, his journalist girlfriend, a female doctor, a mathematics professor, a retired officer, and a Nicaraguan living in Türkiye, ultimately achieving an incredible position.

In my three essay books, I explored themes such as philosophy, history, sports, religion, literature, and animal love. I tackled the most serious subjects in a highly humorous way, and I probably broke the vocabulary record in Türkiye.

I believe the probability of a book losing money is one in a trillion. Even the covers I designed myself and commissioned from renowned cartoonists attract readers. I can have all the covers redrawn by another artist; I have the right to do so.

I can find English equivalents of my book titles that don't exist in Turkish; that's the easy part. I don't know which of my works you might be interested in, so I'm attaching Horgeneral for now.
