Because I am foolish and dishonest, I am given strange thoughts. What do intelligent and honest Americans, British, and French people think?

The British, French, and Italians occupied Ottoman lands for years, and with the support of all of them, including America, the Ottomans lost 85% of the region under their rule. Coincidentally, all of it was oil-rich. After the occupiers returned home (or were expelled according to official history), a new state was established under the name of Türkiye, it was claimed to have won the War of Independence, victories were celebrated every anniversary, independence slogans were chanted, and alliances were formed with former enemies. Because Ottoman Turkish, which consisted of Arabic letters, was abolished and Turkish with the Latin alphabet was introduced, the connection with the past was severed; no Turk can read or understand the documents and correspondence from a century ago.
