Why are we like this?

The stock market in Türkiye lacks a scientific basis because accounting principles are not applied. Businessmen declare losses and transfer resources through mergers under holding companies. Oddly enough, there are no other investment options, and access to foreign markets is prohibited or restricted. The lira is not traded on forex because some people profit from devaluations at regular intervals. We are the only country in the world where members of parliament (499 of them) receive double salaries, both working and retirement pensions; we are the only political party with its own bank; and we are the only country with a commercial organization like OYAK, to which officers and non-commissioned officers of the Armed Forces are legally obligated to participate. I didn't read or hear about these things anywhere; I researched and learned them on my own.
