I was one of Türkiye's first internet users, but I haven't had internet connected to my home for over a decade. Access to tens of thousands of websites is blocked, news and social media users disliked by the government are banned by court order, and nobody can watch erotic films without a VPN. The strange thing is that internet speeds have slowed down considerably and the cost has become exorbitant.
