A tough question

In Türkiye, arrests for corruption have begun in recent months, with mayors and celebrities being imprisoned. I've never seen anything like this before; I've never heard of such crackdowns on bribery, embezzlement, misappropriation, and fraud. As someone who is opposed to such shady dealings, I see this as a positive step, but I find it significant that the victims are all from the same political party. Do only members of a particular ideology commit these shameful crimes, and is the rest innocent? That's the question I can't answer.
